ELES, Slovenien transmission operator announced a delay in completing the interconnector between Slovenia and Hungary
The completion of the Slovenian side of the cross-border transmission line between Slovenia and Hungary 2x400 kV Cirkovce – Hévíz is postponed to June 2022.
As announced by MAVIR, the Hungarian section of the interconnector was completed years earlier and is ready for connection.
With the establishment of the interconnector the capacity allocation will start on the Slovenian-Hungarian border which means that this line will be included in the Single Intraday Coupling (SIDC) and Single Day-ahead Coupling (SDAC).
